Use your plan on a phone
- Open Export plan from More actions and choose GPX. The file contains the fixed reference track, start/end and your checkpoints.
- Open the GPX in OsmAnd on iPhone or Android and import it as a track. Display that track on the map.
- If starting navigation, preserve the original track geometry. Do not attach it to roads or recalculate it with a walking/driving route profile.
- Download required maps in OsmAnd before leaving coverage, then verify the track and checkpoints with the phone offline.
- Compare start/end coordinates and a midpoint against this planner before relying on the handoff.
Physical iPhone/Android handoff validation is still pending. These instructions follow OsmAnd's GPX guidance.
What the website provides
Planning, potential obstacles and estimated terrain. Browser location runs only while the site is active; it does not record an attempt or provide reliable background/offline navigation.
The profile measures grade along the line. Terrain slope shading measures the hillside surface in degrees. Elevation detail varies and may omit small features.
OpenStreetMap data and sampled containment checks can be incomplete. An empty list does not establish access permission or a clear route. Imagery collection dates are often unknown.

Sharing and privacy
Missions start private. Use Share mission in More actions to choose a coordinate link or explicitly enable public sharing. Publishing exposes the line and only checkpoints you explicitly mark for sharing, including their notes and review status. Coordinate links contain only endpoints. Public exports exclude private checkpoints.
Draft recovery is stored locally in your browser. Account drafts are kept separate; no passwords are stored in drafts. Shared-device users can clear site storage to remove local drafts.
Service availability
Search, terrain and obstacle services have independent limits. If one is unavailable, continue editing, saving and exporting. Retry analysis after a rate limit or service interruption.
